Twenty Five Capital Offloads Compliance with NextReg and Hadrius

Preparing for launch
When Antoine Lena discovered wealth management as an MBA student, he knew he’d found a line of work that matched his talents and desires. “It was the perfect combination of technical skills and the human approach,” he says. “I loved it.”
After spending almost a decade at UBS, where oversaw portfolio construction and risk management for high-net-worth clients, Antoine and his business partner decided to strike out on their own. A rapidly evolving world of AI tools helped him envision an independent RIA that ran lean and delivered excellent results. But one aspect of going independent gave him pause.
“Compliance was one of my biggest worries,” Antoine says. “I had never owned it, and I really didn't want to take care of anything compliance-related.”
Sourcing AI-native compliance
Antoine considered joining an aggregator, but worried he would trade one kind of red tape for another. So he did his homework. He read industry reports, browsed forums, and talked to other advisors who had made the leap.
The turning point came when he saw Hadrius at Future Proof.
“When I found out about Hadrius, I saw that a lot of things would be automated. That was very much how I wanted to run the company.”
To actually run compliance day-to-day, Hadrius introduced Antoine to NextReg. The fit felt natural: an AI-native team of experts using an AI-native compliance platform. “If you have very advanced software like Hadrius and an old-school team running your compliance, that’s not a recipe for a successful relationship,” Antoine says. He wanted partners who understood modern technology and could grow with the firm, including toward the digital advice offering he plans to build.
Reducing compliance to one meeting a month
Twenty Five Capital received its registration in November 2025. Ten months in, compliance is no longer on Antoine’s list of worries.
“We already have our hands full managing the money and meeting with clients,” Antoine says. “With NextReg and Hadrius, the compliance burden doesn’t fall on us.”
Day-to-day, Hadrius screens the firm’s communications and social media posts and surfaces anything that needs attention to NextReg, whether that be an account number in an email or a LinkedIn account that needs to be reconnected.
For Antoine, the time dedicated to oversight is minimal. Instead of spending hours each week on compliance tasks, Antoine joins a monthly review in which NextReg walks him through any flags and open items in Hadrius. “It basically tells me what we're doing right and what we're doing wrong.”
When the firm needed to complete a registration with the state of California, a regulator known for being demanding, the process ran through Hadrius and NextReg, including responding to a deficiency letter. “The service was amazing,” Antoine says of NextReg. “We barely had to do anything.”
Most importantly, clients have come along. With a strong custodian and a vetted set of service providers behind the firm, Twenty Five Capital is supported to provide clients a better experience than they’d get anywhere else. For advisors thinking about going independent, Twenty Five Capital is a study in how to keep focus on what matters.
“Hadrius and NextReg made it so that everything compliance-related would be handled for us. That was very important for us,” Antoine says of setting up his own RIA. “They made us very confident we could do it.”
